Reporting a data error

If a record looks wrong, a county is missing, or a location is off, please include the state, the layer (drilling permits, radioactive materials, or power generation), and the operator or facility name. A link to the agency page that shows the correct information is the most useful thing you can send. Records come directly from public agency sources, so some corrections have to be made at the agency, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Suggesting a data source

If you know of a state or agency that publishes drilling permits, radioactive materials licenses, power generation permits, or a related energy filing as a public list or database, send us the link. We add a source only after checking it against real records. See Data Sources for what is covered now.

Account and alert questions

For help with sign-in, saved filters, or email alerts, write to the same address from the email you signed up with. To stop alert emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any alert, or delete the saved filter from your account.
